Joe Pasternack’s Balancing Tips

Current University of Arizona men’s basketball team’s assistant coach, Joe Pasternack, has kindly decided to share a few of his own personal methods of balancing the demands of family, friends and a career. Joe pasternack proves that it is certainly doable to have both a thriving career and a positive and loving relationship with family and friends, although it may seem quite challenging.

Having a wife, two children, and a 13-year coaching experience, Joe Pasternack is, by now, a professional at satisfying all of the people surrounding him, whether from home or work. “It is not easy at all,” Joe Pasternack said. “But I would never give it up, instead I work hard at balancing my life,” he continued.

Joe Pasternack believes that the most important step to achieving the correct and necessary balance is to get your family to agree on the priorities. Each family member should support the others at all times. “There are sacrifices, but your friends, family, spouse and parents all have to support the situation and have an understanding that what I do is important,” Joe Pasternack said.
